If you are seeking help you must first be referred by an agency or a pastor, rabbi, etc. For a list of referring agencies, click HERE.
If the referring agency is not bringing you to New Digs, the referring agency must call 717-620-9735 and refer you before giving you a Referral/Liability Waiver form. Then you must call 717-620-9735 and make a request for an appointment. You MUST bring the Referral/Liability Waiver form and a photo ID with you to the appointment. You will not be allowed to start the New Digs appointment process without the form or ID.
If the agency is bringing you to the warehouse, the agency will make the appointment with New Digs Ministry, Inc. by calling 717-620-9735.
If you are a non-English speaker, you must bring along someone who can interpret for you.
Our current operating hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings – 9:00 A.M until 12:00 Noon. We are also opened on the second Saturday morning of every month from 9:00 A.M until 12:00 Noon.
For safety and insurance reasons, only the client is permitted in the warehouse area. Children and other persons accompanied by clients are restricted to the waiting area. This rule is strictly enforced and we ask for your cooperation.
Clients are only allowed one half hour to find their items! We have to limit time because of the large need and to ensure all clients have equal opportunities.
All items are gently used and have been donated to New Digs Ministry.
Items must be taken with you or you may reserve items that are too large to take. The recipients are responsible for removing the items they have selected within one week!
If you need more time to pick up items, please call 717-620-9735 and let us know!
After one week all items not removed from New Digs will be returned to inventory and your wish list will be removed.
You must call before picking your items up. Do not pick up until you have an OK from New Digs!
Referrals must come from an agency representative (case manager, etc.) or pastor.
To refer a client, please call 717-620-9735 or send an email to email@example.com and leave a message with your agency name, your name and telephone number, the client’s name and telephone. Please spell your name and the client name if leaving a phone message. Also please let us know if the client doesn’t speak English. An interpreter must accompany the client because New Digs Ministry can’t supply interpreters.
If you are bringing the client to New Digs, please ask for an appointment during the referring message. If the client is coming to New Digs without you, the client must call 717-620-9735 and request an appointment.
After the appointment has been made, please give the client a signed (by agency representative) Referral & Liability Waiver form. This form MUST accompany the client to the New Digs appointment. The client will not be allowed to start the New Digs appointment process without the form and also a photo ID.
